The Office of Equal Opportunity & Access reports to the President of the University and is responsible for the implementation of all Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity policies and programs.

The Equal Opportunity & Access office ensures that University policies and programs are in compliance with federal and state regulatory agencies, including Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR), Equal 雇用 Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and the Office of 公民权利 (OCR). The University's Anti-Harassment Policy is administered by the Office. The director of Equal Opportunity & Access is also the Campus Compliance Coordinator for the Americans with Disabilities Act and the 第九条 Coordinator for the university. This includes monitoring and assisting academic and professional areas with personnel recruitment, hiring and other employment practices.
